Tooth Aches
There are many reasons you may experience an aching tooth. It can vary from being a dull, throbbing annoyance to something very painful and debilitating. We will work diligently to find the cause and alleviate the pain as quickly as possible. If left untreated, the pain could escalate and dependent upon the cause, might lead to additional or more severe dental problems. If you are experiencing an aching tooth, do not delay in notifying our office!
Broken Tooth
A broken tooth can be painful, depending on the severity of the break. Many minor breaks can be fixed by simply smoothing over the broken area and rounding off those sharp edges. If there is bleeding or pain, call our office right away. We can schedule an emergency visit for you to address the problem.
Extractions
Many tooth extractions are a non-issue; however, there are times when immediate attention may be required. If you’re in need of an emergency extraction or you are experiencing issues after a tooth extraction, do not hesitate to call our office.
Other Emergency issues that warrant attention
- A lost filling or uncemented Crown or Implant.
- A bridge loosens and comes off exposing the teeth underneath.
- A traumatic injury to your teeth from a fall or accident.
- A swollen jaw or lip that could indicate infection.
- A painful ulcer.
